Gas Networks Ireland: an ambitious transition to a decarbonized gas network by 2045

Gas Networks Ireland has unveiled an ambitious plan to repurpose and resize Ireland's gas network to be fully decarbonized by 2045. The plan involves creating two separate networks, one dedicated to biomethane and one to hydrogen, to transport 100,000 tonnes of renewable gas, supporting Ireland's climate targets.
