Liberec in the Czech Republic: Strategies and measures to adapt to the climate transition

Liberec, a city of 103,000 inhabitants in the northern Czech Republic, is actively focusing on adapting to climate change. Rising temperatures, drought, and intense rainfall are also affecting this only Czech community, which in 2023 was selected for the European NetZeroCities program, increasing the urgency of taking action.
